Questions & Answers

The world continues to be in a state of flux as vaccines are administered, travel restrictions are updated, and communities work to get back to business.  For years, thousands of professionals have traveled to Washington D.C. to experience SATELLITE Week in March and while 2021 will not look the same as previous years, we are providing the opportunity for thousands of professionals to still take part in the SATELLITE Experience.

What is the SATELLITE Experience?

The SATELLITE Experience pairs the in-person event in September with digital programs throughout the year, bringing the networking and content right to your fingertips via a digital platform, regardless of your location.

What are the dates for each event?

The digital content begins in April so we can start the discussions now and give you more time to connect with the community.

Here is the schedule of events for the SATELLITE Experience:

  • SATELLITE 2021: LEO Digital Forum | April 6-8
  • SATELLITE 2021: EMEA + Asia Digital Forum | May 18-20
  • SATELLITE 2021: Future Space Digital Forum | July 26-29
  • SATELLITE 2021: Conference & Exhibition | September 7-10
  • SATELLITE 2021: Digital Encore | September 27-October 1
Will the content be different for each event?

Yes!  The satellite landscape is constantly evolving and changing, and each event will follow that evolution.  We’re starting the conversations now, and each content program will continue those conversations while diving into new topics.

What if I can’t attend every event, including the in-person event in September?

Each event will be live, allowing you to interact with other attendees, exhibitors and speakers, but the content will be available on-demand so you can watch the sessions when your schedule permits, and networking on the digital platform will be available at all times.

All content from the SATELLITE in-person event will be available during SATELLITE Encore, along with new content you can participate in.

Do I need to buy a different pass to experience the digital content?

We’re keeping it simple – your registration for SATELLITE will grant you access to the digital platform.  You will need the Executive All-Access pass to unlock all content and features during the digital events. To see what digital benefits come with each pass, visit the Registration & Pricing page and scroll down to the Benefits section.

What is Digital Encore?

Digital Encore takes place September 27-October 1, and will feature videos of all sessions from the in-person event, as well as new exclusive content.  Whether you missed content onsite or were unable to attend the in-person event, you can still experience the entire program with Digital Encore.

How do I become a sponsor of the digital programs?

We have two packages available for sponsorship of the digital events.  You can view the opportunities here and reach out to Michael Cassinelli at mcassinelli@accessintel.com for more information or to secure a package.

How do I get access to the digital platform?

If you are registered for SATELLITE, you will receive login instructions after you register.  The pass you register for (Executive All-Access, Track Pass, Exhibit Hall or Exhibitor) will determine what features and content you will be able to access on the digital platform.

Will exhibitors and sponsors of SATELLITE 2021 have access to the digital platform?

Yes!  All SATELLITE 2021 exhibitors and sponsors will receive a complimentary listing in the digital platform for all events, and your registered staff will have access.  All booth staff can network and connect with other attendees on the platform.  Exhibitor Executive All-Access passes will have full access to networking and content.

Can I cancel my registration for a refund?

No refunds will be given, if you need to cancel your registration fee can be credited toward a future SATELLITE event.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and because our SATELLITE participants’ health and well-being is our most important priority, we are working closely with the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and our other event partners on developing and implementing health and safety measures, and biosafety best practices for the Event.

However, since everyone’s health and safety needs and concerns may differ, we strongly recommend that you carefully evaluate your personal health needs and concerns before registering for and/or attending SATELLITE Week in-person.
